Tour Plan
Around 8:00 am, leave Nairobi and go to Amboseli National Park in the south.
In Kenya's Rift Valley Province's Loitoktok District, Amboseli may be found. Along the border between Kenya and Tanzania, the ecology is mostly composed of savannah grassland. It is renowned for being the ideal location in Africa to get up close and personal with wild animals including lions, cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeests. There will be possibilities for you to interact with Maasai people and enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
After lunch, unwind before going on a late-afternoon wildlife drive and arriving back to camp around dark.
You will leave the camp with a picnic lunch in hand after breakfast at the lodge to further explore the Amboseli habitat. Enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing in the elephants' home country.
One of Kenya's most well-known parks, Amboseli is crowned with Africa's tallest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro. One of the finest spots in Africa to see big herds of elephants up close is Amboseli, which is a Maasai word that means "salty dust." The dried-up lake bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulfur springs, the savanna, and forests are just a few of the five diverse ecosystems that nature enthusiasts may explore here. The Maasai community, who reside nearby the park, welcomes visitors to interact with them and learn about their culture.
You will leave Amboseli after breakfast to go to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is your next stop. Retracing your steps will take you past the Konza and Kapiti plains and back to Nairobi.
The lake and the adjacent woodlands and bushy grasslands make up the Lake Nakuru habitat. The park is home to a wide variety of animals, with greater and lesser flamingos and other water birds serving as the main draws. The habitat supports almost 450 species of terrestrial birds and 56 distinct types of animals, including white rhinos, lions, and buffalo.
Get a head start on the day by eating breakfast, exploring Lake Nakuru National Park, and traveling to Masai Mara National Reserve. Before going west and stopping at the Maasai settlement of Narok, you will have passed the Rift Valley escarpment on your way there. Continue on to the Masai Mara, stopping for lunch on way so you can have a game drive in the afternoon.
Probably one of Kenya's most popular reserves is this one. The "big five" and several more species of plains game are among the incredible diversity of creatures that may be found there. Both the Mara and Serengeti habitats are traversed by the Mara River, which eventually empties into Lake Victoria.
The migration of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles from Tanzania's Serengeti to Kenya's Masai Mara is the most stunning.
A whole day of game viewing in this vast reserve brimming with animals is yours to enjoy. We'll concentrate on one of the predator-richest regions of the Mara today. Over the course of these two days, we'll probably see a lot of elephants, hippos, Masai giraffes, common zebras, wildebeests, impalas, Thompson's and Grant's gazelles, topis, black-backed jackals, spotted hyenas, and other animals. After enjoying a picnic lunch in the wilderness, you'll head back to your tent in the evening.
Have breakfast, go on morning game drives in the park, and then depart from the Masai Mara. As you travel through the plains and the Great Rift Valley, enjoy more opportunities for wildlife watching. You'll arrive in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, early in the afternoon. You will be transported to the hotel or apartment of your choosing after you arrive in Nairobi.
