Tour Plan
The most well-known Lake Nakuru in the Rift Valley is located south of Bogoria, and you'll be picked up early in the morning and driven there. Its flamingo population has earned it worldwide recognition. It is known as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and is alkaline. With over 60 white rhinos and over 40 black rhinos living there, Lake Nakuru is currently a refuge for rhinos. However, the flamingos have always been the major draw.
Nearly 2 million flamingos might occasionally live there, creating a breathtakingly lovely deep pink strip along the lake's edge.
You'll get there in time for lunch before going on a game drive in the afternoon. You will eat supper and spend the night at the campground or resort.
The Masai Mara National Reserve is a short drive away. It continues to be one of the only locations on the planet where animals continues to coexist in almost the same numbers as when they originally roamed the African plains and woods. The stunning yearly migration of numerous thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and accompanying predators takes place in the Mara, which serves as the northernmost point of the huge Serengeti ecosystem. After arriving in time for lunch, you will go on a game drive in the afternoon.
We'll go on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch after breakfast. The reserve is widely recognized for both its large resident animal population and its black-maned lions. It's one of the few locations where a morning game drive offers the chance to see the Big Five. Many cheetahs are so docile that they seek shade from the sun under people's cars, and some even climb onto the roof to obtain a better view of potential food. Nearly 500 species of birds have been identified, including 9 species of sunbirds, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 species of bustards, including the kori bustard, the largest flying bird in the world, and more than ten species of birds
You will go from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park on this day (through the border with Isebania). This transfer takes virtually the entire day, but you will also be going on a game drive for a significant portion of the day (in the morning in the Masai Mara and in the afternoon in the Serengeti).
On your way to your tented camp, you'll enjoy the afternoon wildlife drive.
The big migration takes place at the well-known Serengeti National Park. As you travel up the crater highlands and pause at the rim, the game drive is breathtaking. The huge Serengeti continues to expand out. Kiswahili's translation of the name Serengeti is "endless plains". More than 2 million big animals live in this 6,900-square-mile (18,00-square-kilometer) park, including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, Thomson's gazelles, and large predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Along with almost 500 different kinds of birds, the region is also home to other smaller creatures like rock hyrax or monkeys. After breakfast on the second day, you'll spend the entire day (morning and afternoon game drives) at Serengeti National Park.
Before breakfast, you'll go on a safari early in the morning to see the animals while they are more active and to see a spectacular sunrise. Return to the camp for breakfast after the game drive, then take a transfer to Ngorongoro. The crater, which has 2,000-foot-high walls and a 102 square mile crater floor, is home to nearly all of East Africa's native animal species, including the endangered black rhino. In fact, the crater is home to more animals than any other place on earth. Due to the dense mineral composition of the volcanic soil and the grasses that grow there, the huge bull elephants who live here develop very enormous tusks.
You will descend to the crater bottom very early in the morning for a day of animal viewing in one of the most amazing sites on earth. Drive up the inclining road out of the crater after stopping for a picnic lunch close to Hippo Lake and additional animal viewing in the afternoon. After that, you'll make a transfer to Manyara to spend the night. Instead of going to Manyara, you might go to Tarangire, which we advise doing from June to September. On the road to Manyara/Tarangire, it is possible to stop by Oldonyo Sambu Maasai Village.
After breakfast, you'll go out for a full-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park over the Great Rift Valley. This magical park is renowned for its allure and exceptionally thick acacia woodland, which is home to baboon and blue monkey groups as well as large fig and mahogany trees. It is well known for having an incredible variety of birds. The park is also home to several elephants, giraffes, buffalos, eland, impalas, and a lake with many hippos that congregate there frequently. The tree-climbing lions and the flamingos on the lakefront have made this park well-known.
The wildlife drives take place along the lake's edge, offering breathtaking views of the animals in the front and the lake, flamingos, and open grasslands in the distance. You will depart for Zanzibar in the late afternoon for three days of rest and leisure.
You may relax and soak in this paradise's stunning white-sand beaches and blue Indian Ocean waters. A day trip in Stone Town, which includes Old Town guided tour, Spice trip, and Prison Island (lunch not included), or a half-day tour, which includes Old Town guided tour, Spice Tour, or Prison Island, are optional extras. Jozani Forest Tour is an additional recommendation (lunch not included).
One can unwind throughout the last leg of your trip. You will then be transferred to the airport in Zanzibar for your international journey.
